Numo Manufacturing was founded in Dallas,
Texas in 1962. The name “Numo” refers to
Numismatics, the scientific study of currency.
For many years Numo’s primary product line
consisted of wooden nickels, hence the Numo
name.
Over time the company ceased to manufacture
wooden coins and expanded into new lines
including beverage insulators, bank bags,
ceramic and glass beverage ware, travel mugs,
floor mats and cooler bags.
In 2007 Kolder Incorporated, a manufacturer
of beverage insulators for both the promotional
and retail markets, purchased Numo. To eliminate
overlap and present a comprehensive line to
promotional distributors, Kolder’s promotional
line of high quality neoprene beverage
insulators and other assorted products is now
sold under the Numo name.
Kolder Incorporated is a privately held
company based in South Texas. Founded in 1982,
the company manufacturers products for the
promotional and retail markets in three North
American facilities and employs approximately
450.
